Upon successful completion you will receive a CA Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) compliance package, including a printable PDF of your Certified Community Health Worker (CHW) certificate issued by National Career Education Center (NCEC). Certificates will be available for employer verification purposes.

Yamini is a convener, strategist, and organizer with extensive experience in public health since 2007. Her work spans youth development, women’s health, reproductive rights advocacy, and racial and gender justice. Passionate about supporting the resilience of communities locally and globally, Yamini holds a Master’s in Public Health from San Francisco State University and is a proud UC Berkeley alum.
